Hi, I’m Beverly Brown — a wife, mom, Mimi, sister, ordained minister, and Executive Director at the Fort Worth YMCA. I’m also a certified life and wellness coach with a passion for helping women live whole and well through faith, fitness, and nutrition. For over 20 years, I’ve been teaching women how to care for their bodies, renew their minds, and strengthen their spirits so they can step fully into their God-given purpose.

I’ve always believed that wellness is about more than how you look — it’s about how you live. My own journey into health and fitness began in high school, when running became both my passion and my place of peace. Over the years, I’ve run countless 5Ks and marathons, and even trained for and completed my first triathlon — a 500m swim, a 14-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run. That season not only pushed me physically but opened my eyes to the powerful connection between nutrition, movement, and overall well-being.

As I studied nutrition, I began to understand the devastating impact poor eating habits have on our health — and I couldn’t keep that knowledge to myself. Family members and friends started coming to me for advice, and I realized there was a real need for simple, practical tools to help people eat better, move more, and feel stronger.

In January 2013, I launched my very first Bfit Boot Camp with eight women meeting three mornings a week at 5:45 a.m. We combined movement, meal planning, and mindset work — and the transformations went far beyond the scale. Women left with more confidence, healthier habits, and a renewed sense of purpose.

It hasn’t always been easy. The same year I started my business, I underwent a hysterectomy and had to navigate the effects of hormonal changes, weight gain, and shifting energy levels. That season taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of listening to your body — lessons I now share with the women I coach.

My calling has always been about more than physical fitness. I believe God cares about our health because it equips us to live out His plan for our lives. That’s why I merge scripture with practical wellness strategies in everything I do — from women’s conferences and retreats to intimate workshops and my signature IAL Brunch, now in its ninth year.

In 2025, I graduated from T.D. Jakes’ ministry school and was ordained as a minister — a milestone that deepened my commitment to serving women in both spiritual and physical transformation. Today, alongside my ministry and coaching, I serve as the Executive Director at the Fort Worth YMCA, where I continue to build programs that empower individuals and strengthen communities.

I’m a firm believer in keeping it real, keeping it simple, and keeping God at the center. Whether I’m speaking from a stage, leading a workshop, or one-on-one with a client, my mission is the same: to see women whole, well, and walking in truth.
